Driftwood LNG LLC (Driftwood LNG) has filed an application with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) seeking a long-term multi-contract authorization to export up to the equivalent of 1,496.5 Bcf/year of domestically produced LNG to nations with and without a Free Trade Agreement with the United States. Driftwood LNG would export the LNG from its proposed LNG terminal site to be located on the west side of the Calcasieu River, near Carlyss, Calcasieu Parish, La.
