Environmental Review of Petronas’s Proposed B.C. LNG Terminal Resumes
Reuters reports that the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) has resumed its review of the proposed Pacific NorthWest LNG (PNWLNG) project near Lelu Island, British Columbia. Malaysian state oil company Petronas is the primary sponsor of the PNWLNG project. The CEAA review process was paused in March to permit CEAA to obtain more information about the proposal from PNWLNG. According to the report, CEAA now has three months to complete its review.
