The Canadian National Energy Board has granted LNG Canada a license to export 1,344 Bcf of LNG/year over 40 years from LNG Canada’s proposed LNG export terminal at Kitimat, British Columbia. LNG Canada is a joint venture of Shell Canada Energy (50%), an affiliate of Royal Dutch Shell plc, and affiliates of PetroChina (20%), Korea Gas Corporation (15%) and Mitsubishi Corporation (15%).
