NextDecade LLC announced that it has signed Heads of Agreements (HOAs) with unspecified Asian and European customers for the sale and purchase of a total of 14 million tons of LNG/year. NextDecade is the sponsor of the proposed Rio Grande LNG liquefaction and export terminal in Brownsville, Texas, and the proposed Pelican Island LNG liquefaction and export terminal in Galveston, Texas. NextDecade states that it intends to convert the HOAs to fully-termed sales and purchase/tolling agreements.
