Cheniere Engages 18 Financial Institutions to Arrange Funding for Corpus Christi LNG Export Terminal
Cheniere Energy, Inc. announced today that it has engaged 18 financial institutions to act as Joint Lead Arrangers to assist in the funding of up to $11.5 billion of debt facilities for the development and construction of the proposed Corpus Christi Liquefaction LNG export terminal and related pipeline near Corpus Christi, Texas. The announcement states that the estimated capital costs for the proposed liquefaction project of $11.5 billion to $12.0 billion, before financing and pipeline facilities, are expected to be funded from a combination of debt and equity financings.
