GNL Canada Files to Export LNG Export from Proposed Quebec Terminal
Reuters reports that GNL Canada has filed an application with Canada’s National Energy Board to export up to 1.6 Bcf/day of LNG from the proposed Energie Saguenay liquefaction project near Saguenay, Quebec. GNL Quebec, owned by Freestone Capital LLC and Breyer Capital LLC, proposes to construct a 650-kilometer pipeline to connect with TransCanada’s main pipeline to supply the project with gas from Western Canada.
