Golden Pass Products LLC submitted a formal application to FERC to add export capabilities to the existing Golden Pass LNG import facility near the Louisiana-Texas border in Sabine Pass, Texas. If approved, the expansion would allow Golden Pass the flexibility to import and export natural gas in response to market conditions. The application process will require environmental impact assessments, reviews by other agencies, and public comment periods that will span an estimated 18 months.
