Yesterday, FERC issued a notice rejecting Sierra Club, Gulf Restoration Network, and RESTORE’s request for rehearing and stay of FERC’s order approving Cameron LNG’s application to construct an LNG export terminal at Hackberry, La. FERC rejected the request because it was filed outside the statutory 30-day deadline for filing rehearing requests and, therefore, the motion for stay was deemed moot.
