FERC Releases Draft EIS for Corpus Christi LNG Project

Today, FERC released the draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) for the proposed Corpus Christi LNG export terminal project near Corpus Christi, Texas. Staff concluded that if the Project is constructed and operated in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and with appropriate mitigation and Staff’s recommendations, the project would not result in significant environmental impacts. Public comments on the DEIS are due August 4, 2014.
