EPA Requests Extension of Time for Comments on Dominion Cove Point LNG EA

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has filed a request that FERC provide it with an additional 30 days to submit comments on FERC’s Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Dominion Cove Point LNG export project. EPA states that the additional time is required due to the nature and complexity of the project. Several environmental and citizen groups have also requested an extension of time to submit comments on the EA.
