FERC Initiates Pre-Filing Environmental Review of Proposed Gulf LNG Export Project

FERC has approved Gulf LNG Liquefaction’s request to initiate the pre-filing environmental review process for a proposed LNG export terminal at Gulf LNG’s existing LNG import terminal in the Port of Pascagoula, Jackson County, MS. Gulf LNG also proposes to make modifications to the existing interconnected pipeline to permit bidirectional flow of gas to and from the terminal. According to FERC, Gulf LNG anticipates filing a formal application for the project in April 2015.
