Article Explains Alaska LNG Project Legislation
An article in the Alaska Dispatch explains a bill recently passed by the Alaska legislature that would provide for the state’s participation in the Alaska LNG Project. The article was written for publication in the media by the Office of the Federal Coordinator for Alaska Natural Gas Transportation Projects, a federal agency whose goal is to transparently coordinate permitting and construction of a pipeline that delivers Alaska’s natural gas to the Lower 48 states. The Alaska LNG Project would involve construction of a pipeline to access North Slope gas supplies and an LNG export terminal to export those gas supplies.
