Trunkline LNG Files Formal Application for Lake Charles Export Project
Trunkline LNG Export, LLC and Trunkline LNG Company, LLC (collectively, “TLNG”) filed a formal application with FERC to construct, own and operate liquefaction and related facilities (“Liquefaction Facilities”) to export domestically-produced LNG from its a site adjacent to TLNG’s existing LNG import terminal located near Lake Charles, La. The Liquefaction Facilities will include three liquefaction trains each with a design production capacity of 5.48 million metric tons of LNG per year. Construction is anticipated to start in 2015 with the first train placed into service in the second quarter of 2019 and the second and third trains to be placed into service in the fourth quarter of 2019 and the second quarter of 2020, respectively.
