CNOOC Affiliate Aurora LNG Files for NEB Export License
Aurora LNG, a joint venture of Nexen Energy ULC (owned by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC)), and Japanese companies INPEX Corporation and JGC Exploration Canada Ltd., filed an application with the Canadian National Energy Board (NEB) for authority to export up to 1140 Bcf/year of LNG over a 25 year period from a proposed export terminal anticipated to be located in the vicinity of Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
