Petronas Affiliate Files for Canadian National Energy Board LNG Export License
Today, Pacific NorthWest LNG, a subsidiary of Progress Energy Canada Ltd. and Malaysian state oil company Petronas, filed an application with the Canadian National Energy Board (NEB) for a license to export up to 19.68 million tonnes of LNG per year from its proposed LNG export facility on Lelu Island in Port Edward, near Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
