FERC Releases Environmental Assessment for Sabine Pass Modification Project
Today, FERC released its Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Sabine Pass LNG Modification Project, which consists of various facility modifications to enhance the operation and reliability, and facilitate the construction, of the Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project currently under construction at the existing Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Cameron Parish, La. The EA concludes that approval of the proposed project, with appropriate mitigating measures, would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment.
