Senators Hear from Both Sides of LNG Export Debate

Witnesses in support of and opposed to U.S. LNG export restrictions testified at yesterday’s hearing before the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources. The Hill provides a brief summary of the hearing. Committee Chairman Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) has advocated a cautious approach to the issue while ranking Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) has supported increased LNG exports.
