Public Comments Sought on Environmental Review of Progress Energy Canada’s Proposed LNG Export Terminal
The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) issued a notice today seeking public comments on whether a federal environmental assessment is required for Progress Energy Canada Ltd.’s proposed Pacific Northwest LNG Project in British Columbia. The project would consist of liquefaction, LNG storage facilities and a marine terminal near Prince Rupert, on Lelu Island. Public comments are due by March 11, 2013.
