An article in the Oil & Gas Financial Journal reports that Chevron Canada Ltd. (Chevron Canada), an affiliate of Chevron Corporation, will acquire all of the interests in the proposed Kitimat LNG Project and Pacific Trail Pipeline (PTP) currently held by affiliates of EOG Resources Canada Inc. and Encana Corp. Upon consummation of the transaction, Chevron Canada and a subsidiary of Apache Corp. will each hold a 50% interest in both the Kitimat LNG Project and PTP, with Chevron Canada as operator of both facilities.
