Cameron LNG Files Formal FERC Application Export Project
Cameron LNG, LLC (“Cameron LNG”) filed its formal FERC application to site, construct, and operate new liquefaction and export facilities at the site of the existing Cameron LNG export terminal located in Cameron Parish, La. The proposed liquefaction facility would consist of three liquefaction trains each with a capacity sufficient to enable the export of 4 million metric tons per year of LNG. The project would be constructed and placed into service in phases: the first liquefaction train will be placed into service in July 2017, the second in January 2018, and the third in July 2018.
