Oregon Court Affirms County’s Authority to Revoke Land Use Permit for Oregon LNG Terminal Feeder Pipeline
Oregon Live reports that the Oregon Court of Appeals issued an opinion affirming a lower court’s ruling that the court had no jurisdiction over the Clatsop County, Ore. Board of Commissioners’ decision to withdraw a land use approval, which permitted a natural gas pipeline to traverse the county to serve a proposed Oregon LNG terminal. In March 2011, the newly elected commission reversed the earlier approval, finding that the pipeline did not meet local land use laws.
