Secretary Chu Tells U.S. Senators No Final Decision Yet on LNG Exports

During testimony before the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, Secretary of Energy Steven Chu said that no final decision has been made as to whether the Department of Energy will authorize additional LNG exports. Secretary Chu noted that he is waiting for additional information regarding the potential economic effects of additional LNG export authorizations before acting on pending LNG export authorizations.
