BG Considering LNG Liquefaction Project on Canada’s Pacific Coast

CBC News reports that BG Group confirmed that it has entered into an agreement with the Prince Rupert Port Authority to explore developing an LNG liquefaction and export project on Canada’s Pacific coast. A spokesperson for the Port Authority noted that an LNG facility “fits very neatly into the development plan at Ridley Island.”
