CBC News reports that, although utilization rates are as low as 5% at other North American LNG import facilities, Canaport LNG is operating at approximately 30% of its capacity. An industry analyst noted that the facility’s utilization rate has been buoyed by a monthly LNG cargo delivery from Qatar.
