A Cheniere Energy official said yesterday that his company is in discussions with LNG buyers from Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, and India for LNG exports from the Sabine Pass terminal. Platts LNG Daily [subscription required] also reports that Cheniere will award the engineering, procurement and construction contract for the liquefaction facilities the company plans to install at its Sabine Pass facility to Bechtel.
