Progress Energy Resources, Petronas to Conduct Feasibility Study for LNG Export Terminal
As part of a natural gas development and export deal valued at CDN $1.07 billion, Progress Energy Resources Corp. and Malaysian national oil company Petronas agreed to conduct a feasibility study for an LNG export terminal proposed for Canada’s west coast. The project contemplates liquefaction capacity of 600,000 cf/d. According to the Calgary Herald, the feasibility study is expected to take about one year to complete.
