Panelists Say U.S. Northeast Gas Market Has Room for Both Shale and LNG
Representatives from Repsol and GDF Suez told an energy forum in Boston yesterday that they expect that both imported LNG and domestic gas supplies from the Marcellus shale gas play will have a place in the northeastern U.S. natural gas market. They predict that gas pipeline constraints limiting distribution of shale gas will keep LNG imported via the Canaport and Everett terminals in demand. Read more in Platts.
