The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (U.S. ACE) notified FERC that it has received an application from Cheniere Energy to amend the Corps’ permit for the Sabine Pass LNG terminal seeking authorization to install liquefaction equipment at the facility. U.S. ACE informed FERC by a letter dated February 28, 2011, that the agency should render a decision on Cheniere’s application by July 31, 2011. The letter is available in the FERC eLibrary under Docket No. CP11-72.
