Cheniere Files Suit Against Hedge Fund Over Default Claim

Cheniere Energy has filed suit against the hedge fund Centerbridge Partners LP, saying that the hedge fund’s assertion that Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG business unit was in default under the terms of some of its notes constituted defamation, business disparagement and tortious interference with business relationships.
