Cheniere CEO Shares Details on Sabine Pass LNG Liquefaction Project
Today’s New York Times offers an in-depth piece on Cheniere Energy’s CEO, Charif Souki, and the company’s Sabine Pass LNG liquefaction project. The Times reports that the liquefaction project is expected to cost approximately $3 billion.
Separately, Cheniere has announced the signing of a non-binding memorandum of understanding between Cheniere subsidiary Sabine Pass Liquefaction LLC and Sumitomo Corp. to contract for up to 1.5 mtpa of bi-directional processing capacity at the Sabine Pass LNG facility.
