The Rhode Island Senate has submitted the findings and recommendations of its task force on the Weaver’s Cove LNG import project to FERC. The task force recommends that FERC deny Weaver’s Cove LNG’s application to construct an offshore LNG unloading berth. The Rhode Island Senate’s submission is available in the FERC eLibrary under Docket No. CP04-36.
Separately, the City of Fall River, Mass., objected to Weaver’s Cove LNG submission to FERC’s technical staff regarding the project’s proposed “Single Accidental Leakage Source Determination.” This filing also is available in the eLibrary under Docket No. CP04-36.
