A spokesperson for Repsol YPF, majority owner and operator of the Canaport LNG terminal, told the Telegraph-Journal that, although the Deep Panuke natural gas production project located offshore Nova Scotia has been delayed, Repsol’s ability to deliver gas to the region will not be compromised. The spokesperson said additional gas supplies could be imported as LNG via the Canaport terminal, adding “[t]hat’s the beauty of the LNG terminal – you can bring gas from elsewhere if you need it.”
