Hess LNG CEO Responds to Criticisms of Weaver’s Cove LNG Project

Gordon Shearer, CEO of Hess LNG, responded to criticism leveled at his company’s Weaver’s Cove LNG project by local opposition group Save The Bay. Shearer released a five-page letter last week addressing the concerns raised by Save The Bay, including environmental and commercial fishery concerns, effects on local residents of closing two bridges during LNG vessel transit, and potential impacts on recreational boaters.
