Weaver’s Cove Responds to City of Fall River’s Letter to PHMSA
Earlier this week Weaver’s Cove Energy LLC submitted a letter to the U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) in response to a letter filed with the agency by the City of Fall River, Mass. Weaver’s Cove Energy argues that although not required by federal regulations its LNG terminal and associated pipeline as designed conform with appropriate regulations of similar facilities.
Separately, Weaver’s Cove Energy also filed its response to a letter from the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management to FERC regarding a number of concerns with the project’s impacts on fisheries in Mt. Hope Bay. Both documents are available in the FERC eLibrary under Docket No. CP04-36.
