Op-Ed Responds to Editorial on Recall Efforts in Clatsop County
Marc Auerbach, one of the leaders of the effort to recall two Clatsop County, Ore., county commissioners, writes in an op-ed carried by The Oregonian that recall of these two officials is appropriate. The piece, written in response to an editorial carried by the newspaper yesterday, likens the recall effort to firing an employee of a company and argues that the recall right is not being misapplied in this instance as backers of the recall believe that the officials’ work on issues related to the Bradwood Landing LNG import project has not been adequate.
