Yesterday FERC authorized Dominion Cove Point LNG, L.P. to move forward on the company’s Pier Reinforcement Project that will allow larger LNG vessels to service the terminal. In its order, FERC rejected the oft-repeated concerns of local utility Washington Gas Light that regasified LNG causes leakage in its distribution pipelines.
