Business News Americas [subscription required] reports that BG CEO Frank Chapman suggested that floating LNG technology may be useful in countries such as Trinidad and Brazil. In his presentation of BG’s second quarter results, Chapman said, “Floating LNG has a role to play for isolated, remote and perhaps smaller [natural gas] accumulations which otherwise would go undeveloped.”
