A number of local officials in Quintana, Texas, criticized the actions of Freeport LNG in pursuing its plan to prepare its facility to accept LNG deliveries via truck. The town officials told The Facts (Brazoria County, Texas) that they were under the impression from Freeport that the truck delivery plan would not be necessary.
