FERC Issues Conditional Approval for Freeport LNG’s Re-Export, Liquefaction, and Truck Delivery Proposals
Subject to a number of environmental conditions, FERC has approved Freeport LNG Development, L.P.’s proposal to re-export up to 24 Bcf of foreign-sourced LNG over a two-year period. FERC also approved Freeport’s proposals to add a boil-off gas liquefaction system to its facility and to accept LNG deliveries via truck for the purpose of maintaining its storage tanks in a cryogenic state.
