R.I. Attorney General Pledges to Oppose Revised Weaver’s Cove LNG Proposal

Rhode Island Attorney General Patrick Lynch announced his opposition to the modified Weaver’s Cove LNG import project design, saying that his office “will continue to advocate against its approval, every step of the way.” Read more in Legal Newsline.

Separately, an editorial carried by South Coast Today (Mass.) argues that due to regional energy demands, federal, state, and local stakeholders ought to examine the modified Weaver’s Cove LNG proposal with an open mind.
