Ore. Attorney General Voices Support for Use of Domestic Natural Gas Over LNG
John Kroger, attorney general for the State of Oregon, told the Daily Astorian that he believes the United States should use its domestic natural gas resources instead of constructing LNG terminals to import natural gas from foreign sources. Kroger also said that he hopes the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit will overturn FERC’s conditional approval of the Bradwood Landing LNG terminal project and compel the Commission to allow Oregon to complete its environmental review before issuing another decision on the project.
