An editorial in today’s Baltimore Sun argues that FERC’s approval of the AES Sparrows Point LNG regasification terminal project is not surprising and goes on to note that opponents of the project “could drag out this fight for years.” The piece concludes that the project does not advance any “truly compelling national interest” and is not worth the risk of compromising safety or environmental quality.
