President-Elect Obama May Support Larger Role for States in LNG Facility Siting Process

The World (Coos Bay, Ore.) reports that President-Elect Barack Obama (D) may support an expanded role for state authorities in the LNG facility siting process. However, Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-Ore.) noted that the president-elect’s first priority will be addressing challenges facing the U.S. economy.
