First Large-Scale LNG Plant in California Begins Operations
Clean Energy announced yesterday that it has started up its California LNG plant in the Mojave Desert in Boron, Calif. The LNG produced by this plant will be used as transportation fuel throughout the U.S. Southwest for port trucks and regional trucking. Clean Energy highlights that the LNG produced from its facility will help replace over 8,000 old diesel trucks with trucks that run on LNG, a cleaner-burning fuel.
