Backers of Kitimat LNG Proposal Announce Plans for LNG Export Facility
The Calgary Herald reports that the developers of the proposed Kitimat LNG import terminal project have decided instead to build an export facility to export Canadian natural gas to Asian markets. Delays in LNG liquefaction projects around the world and an increase in natural gas within the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin were cited for the abrupt shift in plans.
