Repsol Executive Confident Canaport Will Have “Steady Flow” of LNG

Phil Ribbeck, president of Repsol Energy North America, told the Telegraph-Journal (New Brunswick) that “[w]henever Canaport goes online, we will have a steady flow of gas into that facility.” Noting that “[b]asically no LNG other than what’s absolutely required is coming into the U.S.,” energy consultant Zach Allen of Pan Eurasian Enterprises suggested that the Canaport LNG terminal may not see full utilization immediately upon start-up.
