Kitimat LNG’s president, Rosemary Boulton, said at the LNG World Conference in Tokyo that she hopes construction of the company’s proposed LNG terminal in British Columbia will begin in the third quarter of 2009. According to Platts LNG Daily [subscription required], Boulton noted that this timeframe is contingent upon concluding commercial agreements within the next six months.
