Ian Emery, project manager for Calais LNG, told the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal (Canada) that he believes that the issues surrounding LNG vessel transit through the Head Harbour Passage will be resolved before Calais LNG is constructed and operational. Acknowledging the Canadian government’s opposition to LNG tanker traffic in Head Harbour Passage, Emery stated that “[o]ur ships have the right to traverse that passageway.”
