According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Suez Energy North America Inc. has made a series of campaign contributions to several Florida politicians, including two U.S. House members representing the Broward coast, the area where the company hopes to construct and operate the Calypso LNG deepwater port project. Suez’s vice president of communications, Julie Vitek, told the Sun-Sentinel that contributing to campaigns “provides us with an opportunity to introduce ourselves, build relationships and share information.”
