SES LNG Halts Project Development

The Cunningham Report said Sunday that Sound Energy Solutions (SES) has halted development of its LNG import terminal proposed for the Port of Long Beach in Southern California. Tom Giles, president and CEO of SES, said he “can’t foresee any basis on which we can continue the project.” Giles went on to note that the company’s Long Beach offices are expected to close at the end of this month, but no decision has been reached as to the future of the corporate entity or the environmental credits earned by the project.
